I have just finished watching Moulaade for the first time and I would like to send a big thank you out to my good friend, Piet Harsevoort. A fine piece of cinema. More thoughts to follow . . .

Moulaade eh? can't say that i have seen that one yet.
a movie that i did see recently though, was called happiness(?sp). now i apologise for being crude on your site john, but i have to say that that movie was fucked up. i personally couldn't figure out why that movie was made. i did watch the entire movie, as i thought that there would be some revelations or insights that would come up, but the movie disapointed me in this regard. if there is anyone that has seen this movie and would like to explain anything that i may have missed in the movie, and why it may have been worth that time that i spent watching the whole thing, then i would love to hear your perspectives.
for anyone that has not seen this movie yet, i would personally not recomend watching this movie at this point in time. however with some other persons' insights on this movie, my opinion might be swayed differently. furthermore, if you are a person that is uncomfortable with a movie that deals with sexuality, esp. stalkers and pedofiles, then i would stay far away from this movie.

A fine piece of cinema, indeed. I hope to get more of his movies someday, although they are hard to find. I look forward to hearing your thoughts in more depth.
